Katharina vs. Mel | FD2365

Little question who won this match: Katherina dominated from the beginning and, had the rules been adhered to, would have won by knockout. The video has strengths and weaknesses. It is worth some time to focus on each.

I'm not a fan of tattooed female bodies, and each woman is heavily marked, but that is not something the producers can control. That aside, both fighters are better looking than their photos above suggest, so maybe the first area for improvement simply would be for FD to offer more enticing pictures! And, the women actually spar, though from the opening frames, when each is hitting a heavy bag, it is clear Katharina has superior skills. Since topless-boxing in the U.S. rarely involves even sparring, the willingness of the participants to actually trade some genuine blows puts FD a league ahead of its American competition, and not just because the women actually box but because having them do that insures that the action is realistic and credible.

No "stupid pet tricks" like hanging on the ropes and letting the other girl batter your belly here!

Each fighter has a second, which also is an improvement over American efforts (too often, seconds and referees are ignored here because of the added expense in production, but that of course cuts back sales, so it's self-defeating).

Finally, the women have a proper attitude toward fighting, which makes the viewer believe that the effort is serious.

The principal flaw in the production was the fault of the referee. I always had thought this was Guenther, but from the video and a comment here, I understand the gentleman's name to be Marek (LNU). Whatever the name, Marek needs to be much more aggressive as the third "man" in the ring, and he also needs to be more adept at enforcing the rules. This actually worked to Mel's advantage, however, and probably kept her in the fight longer since she was allowed repeatedly to hang on Katharina's neck and engage is wrassling or holding and hitting, all of which are fouls in boxing.

Marek definitely needs to improve his understanding and technique.

I also have mixed feelings about the subtitles in English. Most Americans don't speak Czech, so imposing the subtitles does offer us some information; however, the flip side of that is that we also are treated to all of the four-letter words, and that's definitely a distraction. Not having the subtitles (a) keeps the video clean, and (b) allows those who don't speak Czech simply to infer or imagine what's being said -- the attitudes of the women more than conveys the underlying meanings, so we simply don't need repeated crudities printed on the screen.

Finally, I am not a catfight fan, so I found the catfight ending something of a waste. This, of course, is a matter of personal taste, and others are free to disagree, recognizing that your dollars are your votes, and ultimately FD will have to take that into consideration.

With that in mind, let me close by reminding FD and everyone else that topless boxing first and foremost has an underlying sexual element in it (another reason to avoid filling the screens with subtitles full of cursing). The taunts at the end on the part of some of the observers (all of whom were female) certainly detracts from this and, in my opinion, negatively will impact sales. This video is MUCH better than what is offered in my country; however, it leaves me in the end still wanting not so much something mmore but something different. I realize that the women involved might not be willing to offer that (although other FD videos have presented the fighters in the nude). But, this is an element that needs to be explored and better presented.

I hope these remarks will help make for better films in the future!

A bit of a pantomime, but highly enjoyable nonetheless. Unlike Katharina, Mel has no boxing skills and takes quite a beating in that sector the fight. It was a little surprising, however, that Katharina then proceeded to be just as dominant in the catfight sector. Great fun and not to be taken too seriously. I first met Marek long ago, when he and Hana were working at Gunther's DWW offices in Vienna. He hasn't changed much over the years. Edita still looks good.

Excellent fight makes a difference with the other ladies watching. They shout stuff out and encourage one of the girls its like a real fight at the playground except its a ring. This was close to getting out of hand and turning into a bar room brawl. I recommend this fight so good. BTW Luna in the corner sexy as hell

Katharina vs. Mel is an entertaining fight. One fighter clearly gets the better of the other but that’s ok. Excellent action with a decisive finish! Lot’s of contact to body (nice) and head!

Groans, gasping and painful hits mark this contest!

Ends in a decisive catfight which is enjoyable too. Truly a good fight and well worth the cost! FD keep the boxing coming. Enjoyable because of the great looking aggressive women.

If you like one sided fights with lots of knock downs and punches that land this is a great fight for you! Punches that land and bring out moans of pain! Lot's of trash talk that get's ethnic! Very sexy and angry. One suggestion/question. Why break the video at the points that you do? Might have been better without it.

In diesem Boxkampf stehen sich Katharina und Mel gegenüber. Sie wiegen genau gleich viel, sind also in einer Gewichtsklasse. Mel ist jedoch 9 cm größer, als Katharina. Schon vor dem Kampf merkt man, dass beide sich nicht mögen. Auf Wunsch der anderen Mädels, die den Kampf anschauen, kämpfen die beiden oben ohne. Man kann so schön ihre großen Brüste vergleichen. Ich würde sagen, in Sachen Oberweite liegt Mel etwas vorne. Dann beginnt der Kampf und schon nach wenigen Sekunden landet Katharina einen seitlichen Haken an Mels Kopf und Mel liegt am Boden und muss angezählt werden. Doch schnell ist Mel wieder auf den Beinen und boxt weiter. In der Pause nach der ersten Runde sind beide sehr siegessicher und jede sieht sich als Siegerin dieser ersten Runde. Auch in der der zweiten Runde muss Mel harte Treffer einstecken und wieder wieder angezählt. In Runde 3 rettet nur der Gong Mel davor, wieder angezählt zu werden. Katharina hat auch in dieser Runde wieder knallhart zugeschlagen. In der vierten und letzten Runde schlägt Katharina Mel sogar durch die Seile aus dem Ring. Für mich ein eindeutiger Sieg im Boxkampf für Katharina. Doch Mel wird nun von ihren Team-Kolleginnen aufgestachelt, diese Niederlage nicht auf sich sitzen zu lassen und so kommt es zum Catfight der beiden. Doch auch im Catfight scheint es so, als sei Katharina die stärkere. Verliert Mel auch den Catfight?
