What a good idea to show the interview already in the trailer. That triggered my curiosity. Mel was already full of nervous emotion during that interview, while Vera displayed her usual cocky confidence. That basic attitude was decisive for the hot and compelling fight that followed. For Mel's self-confidence it was vital to punish Vera's arrogance at least a few times. She almost literally said something like that during the fight. Afterwards, you could see that she had only partially succeeded in this. That was a memorable scene when Vera does something unclear with papers and Mel goes mad with frustration at Vera's arrogant attitude. At least it made that impression on me. Fantastic fight, fantastic women!

Agreed Mel I did not expect you to score more points and have never seen you give less than 100 % and doubt I ever will ,You are now and have always been a true leading light in catfighting .

I don't know if I understand your comment correctly, I take it that I showed my positive side in this fight by the fact that my weight and the age of the opponent play a big role. It is very difficult to take down an opponent and put them in a position where I can score more points. :-)

This is only a comment and not a review : There was obviously a tension between the two and I am not sure how much it contributed to the way the fight progressed ,and indeed if one of the fighters was truly prepared for this fight . As Edita's comments highlight the rivalry is apparent and can be felt from just viewing the fight. Those who can understand Czech may understand more after watching the final post match scenes and the exchange of words
