Before the match begins, both ladies engage in a stare-down where their eyes say it all. Sharon is anxious to fight and prove her worth. But Edita has seen this look before, many times. Most of the time, she transforms this hopeful, excited look into one of dejection and defeat. You're going to have to bring your best skills to the mat against this veteran. Experienced wrestlers usually rely on mat-smarts to make up for what they have lost in physical strength. Not Edita. In addition to her high wrestling acumen, her body is in the same incredible shape now as it was twenty years ago.

As in any of Edita's fights, expect excellent wrestling fundamentals to be on full display. As always, she transforms classic defense into punishing moves. Sharon's attacks result in a single-arm takedown in one instance. In another, she pins Edita only to find herself the victim of a classic scissors attack which Edita has mastered long ago. Sharon is schoolgirl pinned, another of Edita's favorite moves. Yet Sharon proves she can escape,eventually forcing Edita out of her pins, time and again. Does the veteran eventually tire, and lose herself? Edita wants to put on a master's course in wrestling, but Sharon isn't having it. It ends close with an excellent facesitting sumbission-by-pin.
